Wonder if you will ever draw as well as your favorite artists?
When I was 18 years old I graduated high school and spent a year attending the local university in Houston. I didn’t feel very motivated, my professors had too many students to care about my performance, and for the first time in my life I began failing classes. But the next summer I saw a behind-the-scenes from Cartoon Network’s animation studios and suddenly I was inspired to become an animator.
My parents were excited to see me so motivated so they helped me move to Los Angeles and enroll in a new and really expensive art school. There I spent four years working harder than I have ever worked in my life to become the most disciplined animator possible. I went through reams of paper, attended 4 hour drawing workshops, and really honed my craft. I had professional industry experts training me from all over the world.
After I graduated I didn’t stop learning but continued my relentless pursuit of art. I’ve written books on drawing, I’ve worked professionally as an animator, game artist, graphic and web designer at various different studios. I’ve drawn comics, successfully launched Kickstarter projects. And I’ve designed countless games, posters, & websites
For 8 years I have been teaching computer art classes in middle schools, high schools, and college.
Together with my students I even designed an educational world leader political science MegaGames in which 72 players are given 4 hours to solve all of the world’s problems.
My name is Shaun D. McMillan and I LOVE to draw. And by the end of this course I believe that you too will be on fire to draw and design everything that you have in mind.
